FLIGHT DURATION
The duration of the regular Corfu-Paxos flight by seaplane is 15 minutes covering a distance of approximately 28.85 nautical miles (53.44 km). The flight operates from/to the Corfu water airport, within the main port of the island and ends at the Paxos water airport, at the new port of Gaios.
Flying by seaplane is the fastest travel option between Corfu and Paxos, as the ferry connection by speedboat (dolphin) or conventional ferry takes from about 45 minutes to 2.5 hours and the schedules are not as frequent as those of Hellenic Seaplanes.

INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR TRIP WITH SEAPLANE TO CORFU AND PAXOS
- Tickets are not cancellable, cannot be converted to open date tickets and cannot be changed in destination, date and time of the trip.
- Tickets are named and non-transferable.
- Passengers must be present at the water airport at least 35 minutes before the departure of the flight for the necessary checks and procedures. It is compulsory to show an ID card or passport to enter the aircraft.
- Passengers are allowed to carry hand bag with a maximum weight of 6kg and dimensions of max. 50 (M) x 40 (W) x 30 (H) cm, which will be checked at the airport before boarding.
- For additional luggage (heavier suitcases, additional equipment or pets) there is an additional cost and you should contact the relevant Hellenic Seaplanes department at reservations@hellenic-seaplanes.com
- Flights are subject to weather conditions.
- Some scheduled flights may be subject to passenger minimums.
- The aircraft is not wheelchair accessible.
- All passengers travelling must have mobility to be able to fly. An assistive device (e.g. wheelchair or cane) can be used by a passenger to get from the water airport to the aircraft, however, passengers must be able to walk on and off the aircraft with little or no assistance.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the flight take off will not be accepted.

Where can we find Corfu water airport?
The water airport is located within the Central Port of Corfu.
The passenger service building where check-in and inspections are carried out is located within the Corfu Port Authority near the service area of the water airports, while the boarding point to the aircraft is only 200 meters from the building.
Near the water airport there is a bus stop for public transport, a taxi station and a parking area for passengers. You may be required to show your tickets if requested by the water airport staff.

What kind of dangerous items are not allowed to be carried on the aircraft?
Subject to applicable flight safety rules, passengers are not permitted to carry the following in a security restricted area and in the cabin:
- sharp objects capable of causing injury
- paralysis devices, sharp-edged objects capable of being used with intent to cause serious injury
- liquids, aerosols, gels

Is there a WC on the seaplane?
The cabin of the seaplane has no WC and passengers can only be served in the corresponding areas within the water ariport.
