Hellenic Seaplanes has successfully completed its latest series of test flights in Alimos, marking another significant milestone in the company’s operational preparations for the launch of the seaplane network in Greece.

During the test flights, a series of water landings and take-offs were successfully carried out, while operational procedures, site functionality, and coordination among the teams involved were thoroughly evaluated under real operating conditions, delivering highly positive results.

Alimos is being prepared to serve as Athens’ primary gateway to Greece’s expanding seaplane network, connecting the capital with island and mainland destinations while offering a new, fast, and flexible travel option.

Nicolas Charalampous, President and CEO of Hellenic Seaplanes, stated:

 The final procedures required for the operational launch of the seaplane facility are now in their concluding phase, paving the way for scheduled services to commence as soon as possible.
