A new chapter opens for transportation possibilities and tourism development in Argolis!

Hellenic Seaplanes successfully carried out its first test flight to Ermioni, Argolis, inaugurating a new chapter in alternative transportation in Greece. The seaplane flew over the Greek Riviera, passing by Porto Heli, Kivada, Spetses, Hydra, and Poros, offering passengers breathtaking views of the seaside landscapes that define the region. The flight ended with an approach to the port of Ermioni, marking the first seaplane landing in the area.

This flight is part of the company’s strategic plan for the reoperation of seaplanes in the country, aiming to connect Ermionida with significant destinations such as Athens, the islands of the Aegean and Ionian, as well as infrastructure in the Peloponnese, like Kalamata and Kyllini.

The CEO of Hellenic Seaplanes, Mr. Nicolas Charalambous, stated:
“The flight to Ermioni is a decisive step towards strengthening alternative forms of transport in Greece, especially in Eastern Peloponnese. The Director of Ground Operations at Hellenic Seaplanes, Mr. Polychronis Rontogiannis, stated:

The flight was combined with the boarding of a group of company executives, who had the opportunity to enjoy an impressive aerial tour, capturing landscapes of unparalleled natural beauty. The passengers enjoyed the seaplane experience, with picturesque beaches, turquoise waters, and idyllic villages unfolding before them.
