In <\/span><b>Patmos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the construction of the water airport has already been completed, and the next steps involve the transport and installation of the equipment for both the external and internal areas of the facility.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, in <\/span><b>Sifnos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, following the completion of the tender process for the water airport and the selection of <\/span><b>Hellenic Seaplanes <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as the leading company, developments are equally swift. Discussions regarding the contract terms of the project have been completed, and the company is moving quickly to initiate the construction procedures for the water airport.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><b>Sea Planes Are Coming Closer to Alimos!<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While awaiting the completion of the licensing process for the <\/span><b>Alimos water airport, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hellenic Seaplanes has begun the necessary procedures to add a <\/span><b>water field<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the area, in addition to the water airport. This strategic move was decided by the responsible company so that Alimos can meet deadlines and fully integrate into the network of water airports that will operate flights.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upon the completion of the licensing process<\/span><b>, Alimos will become the first water airport in Athens,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> marking a significant step for the development of sea planes in Greece.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><b>Sporades and Evia in the Spotlight<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Good news is coming from the <\/span><b>water airport network in the Sporades<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as the technical files for the islands of<\/span><b> Skopelos, Alonissos, and Skyros <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are nearing approval, with the construction of their water airports soon to follow.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regarding the network of water airports in Evia, in <\/span><b>Halkida, Aidipsos, Karystos, Aliveri, and Kymi, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the timeline for actions includes receiving the relevant opinions from the appropriate departments of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport so that the process can move forward for the simultaneous initiation of construction in the selected locations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regarding the installation of land infrastructure at the Tinos water airport and all the developments regarding the water airport network in Greece, <\/span><b>the President and CEO of Hellenic Seaplanes, Mr. Nicolas Charalambous, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stated:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;The developments in the field of water airports and sea planes, with the recent installation of land infrastructure in Tinos, Patmos, and Sifnos, fill us with satisfaction and optimism, especially in a present overshadowed by the tragic events of the war in Ukraine.
