The aim is to <\/span><b>expedite the licensing, location, and construction processes for water airport constructions <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in multiple harbors, in order to implement the <\/span><b>first flight network in the Aegean Sea<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> without delay.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">As expected, discussions and developments related to the creation of a network of water airports on the islands where their construction is planned are at various stages, with the company\u2019s action plan designed to synchronize these processes in the most effective and efficient manner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Specifically, in November, an agreement was finalized regarding the commencement of the construction of <\/span><b>the water airport in Tinos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with the shared goal of having it operational by the 2020 tourist season. The agreement was signed at the Tinos Town Hall, with the presence of the Mayor, Mr. Giannis Siotos, the President of the Tinos-Andros Port Fund, Mr. Georgios Santamouris, and the President and CEO of Hellenic Seaplanes S.A., Mr. Nikolaos Charalambous.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Along with the agreement, the three men conducted an extensive analysis of the necessary steps to ensure the methodical and timely construction and operation of the water airport.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The operation of <\/span><b>the water airport in Patmos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is also in its final stages, with most of the required licenses already secured, pending inspection by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure\u2019s inspection team. This will cover both the facilities and equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, the network of planned water airports across the Aegean has expanded to include <\/span><b>the Sporades Islands<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with <\/span><b>Skopelos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> leading the way. Hellenic Seaplanes has been appointed as the contractor for the development of the island\u2019s water airport.
