After Fthiotida, it is now Fokida\u2019s turn to embrace the seaplane project, with the creation of a<\/span> local network of water fields<\/b>, adding six new locations! These include the ports of the destinations <\/span>Trizonia, Galaxidi, Molo Agion Panton, Eratini, and Agios Nikolaos<\/b>, which, led by <\/span>Itea<\/b>, will put seaplanes on the tourism map of the region.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hellenic Seaplanes, in direct cooperation with the<\/span> Fokida Port Authority<\/b> and its <\/span>President Mrs. Sophia Anagnostakou<\/b>, as well as with th<\/span>e Region of Central Greece and Mr. Fanis Spanos<\/b>, is strategically expanding its infrastructure network, having already submitted files for the licensing of seaplane stations in Itea, Agioi Pantes, and Eratini. In the coming days, the process will proceed similarly for the approval of the water fields in Trizonia, Galaxidi, and Agios Nikolaos.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the plan for Fokida also includes the creation of a water airport, with Hellenic Seaplanes taking on the project for establishing a <\/span>water airport in Itea.<\/b> Once completed,<\/span> Central Greece will become one of the first regions to bring water airports as a means of transportation,<\/b> having in its portfolio <\/span>numerous water fields<\/b> as well as <\/span>water airports in key areas, <\/b>effectively supporting the operation of seaplanes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Opening Development Wings Over Fokida!<\/b>
\n<\/span>For the six destinations in Fokida that will soon gain infrastructure, the \u201ckey players\u201d of the projects emphasized that seaplanes and their new stations open up prospects for the development of tourism across the region and can attract other modernization investments.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>\u201cI was particularly pleased to learn about the interest of Hellenic Seaplanes in creating a seaplane network in our region, recognizing the important role it will play in upgrading the wider area. The operation and utilization of the new water fields and the modern water airport in Itea will highlight the unique characteristics of a developing city, in the center of Greece and near the archaeological site of Delphi, making it a reference point for promoting quality maritime tourism.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n
